   Kiev Hat: Why are you going to visit KievHat?
   Patrick: I have heard great things about it from Ze Luis, a Portuguese player, as
well as Christian Jennewein. Plus I have seen the videos that someone made.
It looks like my type of tournament. Play hard, party hard, and good looking
women :-)

Kiev Hat: What do you know about our tournament?
Patrick: I know it is a hat tournament that has very little westerners. The level is
supposed to be good and the spirit even better. I also heard that there is a
nude beach. I think it is no surprise that people call it the Bar do Peixe
tournament of the East (the Bar do Peixe tournament is the hat tournament,
near a nude beach, in Portugal that my wife and I have been organizing for
the last 14 years).

Kiev Hat: Is it your first visit to Kiev/Ukraine?
Patrick: Yes, we have never been. When I was 8 I was in Bulgaria, but that is as far
east as I have been. I will be exciting. My family and I are planning to go
to a tournament in Turkey first and then drive to Kiev :-) I hope I can get
a GPS system in English otherwise I will be lost on the highway trying to
decipher your code on the signs

Kiev Hat: What are your expectations from this trip?
Patrick: A completely new experience. I have been playing for 31 year and I have
never played in an Eastern European country. It will be interesting to play
in a place where I don't understand what most of the players are saying but
I am sure that Ultimate players are Ultimate players no matter where they
are. I am really looking forward to it!
